Overview
Oracle is pleased to host the Spring 2025 NFS Bake-a-thon in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This event combines in-person and virtual presence using peer-to-peer VPN connections.

Testing Focus
Testing at this spring's event will include:
- RPC with TLS
- NFSv4.2 extensions
- pNFS with Flex File layouts
- Kerberized NFS
- NFS/RDMA on iWarp
Registration
Send a notice of your plan to attend in-person to BAT Contact. Virtual attendees may gain access to our VPN by registering at Spring 2025 Registration.
Here are the steps to access the network:
- Download the tailscale bits
- Register with the Bake-a-thon VPN server
- tailscale up --login-server https://headscale.nfsv4.dev
- The registration will give an authentication link
- Use that link to
- Create an account on the BAT server
- Authenticate your machine[s]
- The command 'tailscale status' will show hosts that are accessible on the VPN

Communication
A Discord server, called "Bake a Thon", enables attendees to interact via chat, audio, and video while testing. Informal demonstrations and presentations are organized during the afternoons.
