Development Overview: W2K CIFS

The big changes:

• SMB over TCP/IP without NetBIOS.
• NBNS is gone, replaced by Dynamic DNS and Active Directory.
• New KerberosV-based authentication & authorization scheme.

W2K does have backward compatibility for "legacy" systems. So far, there has been little interest in support for W2K CIFS.
